When care is needed for issues that are not life-threatening, we encourage the use of urgent care centers as a convenient option when a patient is unable to see his/her primary care physician or outside of office hours. Treatment for a cold, the flu, sprains, vomiting, nausea and other illnesses can be provided at urgent care centers.
